My Talking Tom lets you adopt Tom as a kitten and raise him to adulthood while feeding him, dressing him and keeping him active with games and other activities.
My Talking Tom is a sandbox experience that children will adore and even more mature users can enjoy. There’s something fundamentally enjoyable about adopting a virtual pet and helping him grow from baby to teen to adult. You’ll do this by feeding him, keeping him clean and so forth.
My Talking Tom is similar to other apps in the My Talking series in that you’ll have control over fashion, home decor and so on. Many of the protagonists of the My Talking series are female, but Tom is male, so this particular game deemphasizes or eliminates makeup, hairstyle and some other aspects. This helps the game feel quite different than the others and may help it appeal to new groups.
Activities including eating, using the restroom, sleeping and playing games. Activities like eating are imperative to keeping Tom physically healthy. Playing the various mini-games and the like are essential to keeping him mentally healthy. You’ll also be able to decorate various locations within in his home, and a nice touch is that the developer provides seasonal options, such as rooms decorated for Christmas during the holidays.
Items you purchase for Tom are acquired by going shopping within the game. You can purchase these items with in-game currency as well as real money. In-game coins are earned via mini-games and other activities. It’s worth noting that some items are only available for purchase with real money and others are priced to make the in-game process grindy, but the game is relatively inoffensive in this regard.
